Interactive Broadcast Courses

In cooperation with the Utah Education Network (UEN), interactive broadcast courses are provided via Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) technologies to students throughout the state of Utah. The technologies allow students at many locations to all be part of the same classroom and interact in realtime with their instructors and classmates through two-way audio and video. Classrooms located at Utah State University Regional Campuses, Education Centers, and other cooperating sites let students across the state attend classes close to home.

Interactive Broadcast courses are the closest form of distance education you can get to traditional on campus courses. Students should be prepared to interact through a series of microphones and a flat panel television. If you are a student who is willing to use modern technology, likes traditional lectures, and can follow a set schedule, interactive broadcast is right for you.
