New Webmaster For USU RCDE

USU Regional Campuses and Distance Education welcomes new webmaster Stephen Nielsen.
Nielsen grew up on a small farm in Taylorsville Utah. He grew up raising pigs, sheep, and horses for the 4-H program but was always very interested in aerospace, computers, and technology.
At 16, his older brother convinced Nielsen that there was more to computers then playing video games, so together they developed a webpage for a business his brother was trying to start.
“Because of that, I haven't played a video game since 1999,” said Nielsen.
Both of Nielsen’s parents are Aggies, so Utah State was a natural choice when it came time for college. He began majoring in Computer Science but later switched his focus to business. Nielsen graduated with a degree in Management Information Systems in May 2009.
In addition to his love for web design, Nielsen enjoys singing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities.
