Plants and Civilization (DSC)
Examines the importance of plants as food, shelter, clothing, medicine, and drugs. Social and historical role of plants in aesthetics, religion, energy, biotechnology, human exploration, and migration. Prerequisite: University Studies Breadth Life Sciences (BLS) course.
