General Information - Summer Credit Workshops

Activity Cards
Activity cards are available to students taking workshops for credit at the Logan Campus. All students with valid activity cards are entitled to use university facilities and services including: HPER, Field House track, computer labs, libraries, and student body activities. An activity card can be obtained from the USU Card Office in the Taggart Student Center, room 212. Students must provide a copy of their paid registration. Computer Labs
Students attending Summer Credit Workshops may utilize the USU computer labs. Students attending workshops must show their activity card. Refer to Activity Card section for details.

Grading: Letter Grade/Pass-Fail
Grading for workshops will be administered in one of three ways: letter grade only, pass/D+/D/fail only, or letter grade/pass fail (student's request). Pass/fail requests for workshops must be submitted to the Registrar's Office, TSC 246 or the Registration Office, ECC 103 by the first day of the workshop.

Libraries
Utah State has two state-of-the-art libraries:
§ Merrill-Cazier Library
§ Quinney Natural Resources Research Library
Summer Credit Workshop participants may check out materials by presenting a student activity card (refer to Activity Card section).

Parking
Workshop participants are responsible for their own parking arrangements. Parking passes will not be provided.  All participants must abide by USU Parking guidelines. Any citations issued are the responsibility of the participant. Transcripts
The Record's Office issues official transcripts. A request form must be received by the Record's Office, TSC 246 or by mail request at 1600 Old Main Hill, Logan, Utah 84322-1600 or via the Internet. Students are continually adding and dropping workshops, thereby adjusting space availability. Please continue trying to register for workshops that are full. Another option is to contact the workshop instructor for enrollment permission.
